Our Vineyard
Our vineyard is located in the piney woods of East Texas on 40 acres of land. The first muscadine grape vines were planted by Rosemary Guerra and her husband in 1994. Now, 30 years later, Zepeda Vineyard has grown to 5 acres of 11 varieties of muscadine grapes. We grow Nobles, Carlos, Ison, Sweet Jenny, Higgins', Magnolia, Darlene, Reliance, Black Beauty, Cowart, Sugar Gate, and Carman. We also have a few Black Spanish grapes and Blanc du Bois grapes.
On Labor Day Weekend we open our vineyard for our customers to pick their own grapes. We make sure not to spray any pesticides or chemicals on our grapes to keep them organic, and they are delicious right off the vine!
